Via 2 workshops carried out at the same time with children on one side and parents on the other, risk behaviours associated with the use of mobiles and videogames without abuse will be discussed, for example: lack of control, need to connect, interference with school or work performance, abandon of healthier activities, interference with relations between a couple or personal ones, etc.
During the 2nd hour both groups together (children and parents) will explore the best way to use a Smartphone and videogames without abusing or turning to what might be considered addictive behaviour, tackling technodependency prevention from an educational viewpoint for global health and integration. The aim of the activity is to give children a voice so that they can understand the cultural and social context they are living as regards the digital revolution, and to support and accompany them in this era of digital growth.
Optionally, there will be a 3rd hour tackling the different tools both mobile game platforms (Game Center, Google Games) and video consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, etc.) offer in order to supervise activity and facilitate family mediation.
